BOOKINGS is Embed's reservation and event management module, handling both online bookings made by guests from their own devices and in-venue attraction reservations at the KIOSK+ or SALES POS. It covers party bookings, ticketed events, and in-venue experiences such as bowling or laser tag—all within the same integrated TOOLKIT platform.
Can guests book and pay for events online before arriving at the venue?
Yes. BOOKINGS supports full ecommerce reservations, allowing guests to browse, book, and pre-pay for parties and events from any device at any time. Pre-payment is built into the online booking flow, giving operators guaranteed revenue confirmation ahead of the visit and reducing the risk of no-shows.
What are the different booking experience configurations available in BOOKINGS?
BOOKINGS supports three experience types: Single Session (a booking for a specific time slot or option), General Admission (flexible open-entry), General Admission with Play Privilege (which links the admission ticket directly to a guest's game card or wearable for tap-to-enter access at the attraction). This flexibility allows operators to configure each attraction or event type to match how it actually runs. Ecommerce Bookings is also available to make online reservations.
How do digital waivers work within the BOOKINGS module?
BOOKINGS includes a built-in digital WAIVERS feature that operators can customise and embed directly into the booking process. Guests sign their waivers from their own device before arriving—eliminating paper forms at the door and reducing check-in time. Waiver data is also collected and stored, giving operators useful guest information beyond the transaction itself.
How does BOOKINGS integrate with the KIOSK+ and the SALES POS system?
BOOKINGS operates within a unified POS environment alongside KIOSK+ and SALES. Guests waiting for their reserved attraction can enjoy other offerings and purchase more from the venue—game card bundles, food and beverage, additional experiences—through the same system while they wait. This integration is designed to increase secondary spend during dwell time rather than letting that time go unmonetised.
