Why You Should Use Natural Cleaners

Cleaning products are among the most common things found in any household or business — and can often be one of the most dangerous. Traditional cleaners are formulated with poisonous chemicals, and the presence of these potent chemicals in your business can pose a danger to your employees and guests if exposed to air (via inhalation), accidentally ingested or via contact with skin. Plus, they’re bad for the environment.

With heightened cleaning protocols in place, you're likely disinfecting high-touch areas numerous times per day – even  between each player. A recent Embed survey showed that 65% of FECs around the globe are cleaning their FECs every hour. That’s a lot of toxic chemical exposure for your employees and guests (with a long list of health risks.)

Chemical-laden cleaning products can cause countless short-term and immediate health problems, including (but not limited to): headaches, dizziness, skin, respiratory and eye irritation, and asthma attacks. Some cleaners also contain known or suspected carcinogens, neurotoxins, reproductive system toxins, and hormone disruptors.

Why use toxic cleaners when you have natural products that equally as effective? The benefits of using natural cleaning products:

  • With natural cleaners, you won’t have to worry about exposure to toxins. That means you, your guests, and team members will not be exposed to harsh chemicals lingering in the air or potentially come into contact with toxins that may remain on surfaces throughout your facility.
  • Natural cleaners eliminate that strong chemical smell and replace it with the pleasant fragrances of essential oils. This means no harmful VOCs are released into the air, and the risk of developing asthma and other severe respiratory conditions is reduced.
  • Using natural cleaners benefits the environment and helps decrease water pollution, ozone depletion, air pollution, and global climate change. By choosing an environmentally-friendly cleaning product, you can reduce carbon dioxide emissions and protect aquatic ecosystems.
  • Natural cleaners are non-corrosive and non-abrasive, reducing the risk of damage to the expensive hardware and games in your FEC. Putting these chemicals on your games can cause discoloration, destroy plastic resin, and any leakage into mechanical/electrical hardware via buttons or handles will destroy the game AND make them highly flammable. This can cause your business to go up in flames – literally.

Natural cleaning products work as well, or even better, than conventional cleaning products and eliminate the dangers associated with toxin exposure. Don’t risk your guests’ and employees’ safety by using harsh industrial cleaners.
